  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Reports To: Northern California Housing Services Director
  • Compensation: $75,000-$90,000/annually, BOE
  • Status: Full-time, exempt

Founded in 2004, Brilliant Corners provides innovative housing and housing-related services to California’s most vulnerable individuals, with an emphasis on those transitioning from, or at risk of, homelessness or institutionalization. We develop, own and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes, and implement a broad array of scattered-site, one-on-one supportive housing, and clinical case management programs through partnerships with developmental services, homeless services, veterans’ services and health care sectors.

The Contracts Manager is the “central nervous system” for all grant contracted work within the Northern California Housing Services Department. The Contracts Manager is responsible for working with finance, program and human capital staff as well as funders to manage our contracts to maximize resources towards positive social impact. This work includes tracking budgets, ensuring timely invoicing, leading budget modifications, and regular reporting funders.



  • Collaborate with finance and program leadership to manage the preparation, submission, and execution of public and private contracts for housing services work in Northern California (this currently includes DAAS, Regional Centers, Health Plan of San Mateo, MOHCD, HSH & Tipping Point, but may increase based on future funding opportunities).
  • Track contracts in appropriate systems, both internally and externally, and ensure consistency across platforms (CARBON, Intacct, Paycom, etc.)
  • Oversee monthly invoicing to ensure consistent, appropriate drawn down of funding.
  • Participate in funder meetings as necessary.
  • Submit high quality, accurate reports to funders.
  • Ensure contracts are drawn down fully. Complete budget modifications as necessary to maximize funding toward program goals.

  • 3 to 5 years of successful grant or contracts management, or comparable transferrable experience.
  • Knowledge of or experience in non-profit human services. Experience with homeless, veteran and/or developmentally-disabled populations a plus.  



  • Demonstrated writing and researching skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and planning skills.
  • High degree of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently and simultaneously.
  • Solid team player who is able to work well collaboratively on projects and under pressure.
  • Proficiency in common word processing, desktop publishing, and database software applications
  • Demonstrates the necessary attitudes, knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in cross-cultural situations.
